Time flies! Just completed the 203rd brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!
- Fun In The Discord Chats
Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.
- Moving Back To Bronze Fray
Had 6 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.
- We Got 5th!
So for the final result, we were 5th out of 10 guilds and got 377 Merits and around 13 SPS! Finally an improvement!
Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I won 4 of them this time! Finished 3rd within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 3 additional wins for me.
Battle 1 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver
Earthquake and Poison battle! The strategy was to pack my team with high HP and high armor cards and Baakjira, Relenor Cleaver and Sea Monster survived very comfortably till the end! Was never in danger throughout the battle and MVP by default goes to the tank! Hehe!

Battle 2 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato
This battle was much closer than I expected it to be! I thought having the Delwyn Dragonscale and Larissa Kerato combination would be secure enough but my opponent had a strong lineup and I huffed and puffed through their high HP. The opposing Cursed Windeku was causing a lot of damage to my team via Thorns as well. In the end, my team pulled through and Larissa Kerato helped a lot with the Double Strike hits.

Battle 3 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: None
I was never going to win this battle with my opponent fielding Quora Towershead. Even with 2 healers, there was nothing much I could do and it's just one of those battles that I unwilling have to settle for a loss. :(

Battle 4 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Marisol Contuma and Captain Katie
It's that dreaded Quora Towershead again. There was no healing in this battle and with that, I stood a better chance. Marisol Contuma and Captain Katie worked really hard with their high damage output and Captain Katie's Snipe ability proved to be very handy in this case by taking down the backline.

Battle 5 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Marisol Contuma and Captain Katie
Marisol Contuma and Captain Katie partnered again! Marisol Contuma did better this time round after getting the Bloodlust, partly thanks to Iziar for holding the tank position and allowing the Reach ability to play to its advantage. A very strong effort as everyone contributed! Never easy to face Alric Stormbringer lineups on any day!

Battle 6 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Marisol Contuma
Marisol Contuma featured for the 3rd time but it wasn't so lucky for me this time. My Melee team came up short as my opponent's tank has Shield ability and that made it difficult for my team. Should have fielded better for this 22 mana battle. Something for me to reflect and improve.
MVP: None
So that sums up my 6 battles for this brawl! An 67% win rate this time round, pretty decent for such a difficult brawl.
