We have a lot of favorite foods, from the unhealthiest to the healthier ones. I'm actually glad that we are living near the market where fresh crops are available. I think the fresh crops can also affect their healthiness, no? And that's also why we go to the market every day, we can catch more fresh crops that way, not just crops but also fish.

And because we have veggies in our yard now, that too, contribute a lot to the health benefits of one dish we made. Our crops for sure has no any chemicals because they are homegrown. It'll be awesosme if ee can add more veggies in our yard, but now we only have tomato, sweet potato leaves, squash -it's leaves and flowers are all edible. And the new addition was the bitter gourd. They are still small though. Ah, we also have Alugbati \(^o^)/.

And well, the fact that they are homegrown is what's make them special. Mama put lots of care and love to them. Ehe. ♪ \(^ω^\ )

Anyways, I'll be sharing more than one dish today, hope that's allowed (^∇^)ノ♪

1.) Sinabawang Isda (any kind if fish)

This is actually one of our favorite, Sinabawang Isda in any kind of fish. It is a healthy one because didn't put in it, it is just the fish, the sweet potato leaves, garlic, onion, salt, msg and water. Sweet potato leaves help boost immune system, it is also rich in vitamins and minerals. And seriously, I needed this because it is also a good source of iron which what I really need. I remember eating lots of this after I had bleeding and needed a blood transfusion. By the way, we had this again today after having it the other day haha. The only difference is instead of sweet potato leaves, I used malunggay in it. And we really live soup in our every meal. Chewing and swallowing the food is much easier with soup you know.

2.) Sinabawang Gulay (eggplant, long beans, and tomatoes)

Another favorite is this Vegetable Soup with Mixed Veggies, they usually have squash, eggplant, long beans, okra and tomatoes but our version is the incomplete version. Seriously, this one of our favorite but unfortunately we can't eat them all the time. These vegetables are healthy but they have bad effect too, especially for the oldies. But this is really delicious. I love to sip it's soup while it's still hot and eat it with steamed white rice. I also love to pair this with any fried fish, dried fish or smoke fish. Actually, you can also mix them in the vegetable soup to make it more flavorful. It's been a long time since I last had this. I should make this again soon.

3.) Sauteed Carrot and Potato with Squid Balls as Toppings

This is also one of our favorite, simple sauteed veggies, sometimes we use meat or squid balls in it. Squid balls is not that healthy so I fried them and put it just as toppings to the veggies. And you know how amazing potato and carrot are with their health benefits. The oldies love carrots while I love potatoes. So put them together, then that's even better. And this is also the reason why we often used carrot in some dishes we made. It's a good thing they are cheaper now compare before. And the ingredients of this dish is really just simple, 1/4 carrot, 1/4 potato, one medium onions, garlic, squid balls for the toppings, chicken cube, cooking oil, and water. That's just it, and we'll just sauteed them altogether. (^._.^)ノ

As you can see all of them had veggies. We always make sure that in every meal, we have veggies to eat together. Ah, I prefer it if there's soup too. I love soup \(^o^)/. How about you?

I want to invite @leannwithdoublen and @arashi0416, i'm sure you'll love the topic po (^._.^)ノ
