Hello everyone!
Workdays have swallowed me up completely — work takes up all my time. To be honest, it’s pretty routine, and there’s not much to talk about. But my soul is still in Thailand. Looking through the photos, I caught myself feeling nostalgic and decided to share with you the story of one ordinary evening — our walk with my son to the playground. And at the same time, I’ll show you a few photos that convey that atmosphere.
The playground is just a 10-minute walk from our house, right next to a picturesque lake. In the evening, soft lighting turns on there, but I admit that I’m not yet an expert at taking photos in the dark. I wasn’t entirely satisfied with the quality of the photos, but I still wanted to show their mood. The playground is surrounded by greenery, and there are modern exercise machines nearby that you can use for free. Some people are running along the alley around the lake, some are training, and I, as usual, am looking for interesting shots.
I especially remember the reflections of houses and lanterns in the calm water of the lake. I was just learning how to take pictures then, but now, looking at these photos, I understand how I could have improved them. The area is big, with lots of entertainment, so every child will find something to do. I noticed that Thai children, both boys and girls, love football. Their energy and laughter are infectious!
While my son was playing with the local kids, I decided to take some pictures on the neighboring football field. There, older guys were enthusiastically kicking a ball around after work. When they saw my camera, they seemed to start playing even more actively - no one was shy about posing! It's a pity I didn't have a suitable lens with me to catch close-ups, so I limited myself to general shots. But even so, I managed to convey the mood of that evening.
For me, Thailand is about openness and warmth. I've already written about this in previous posts, and this evening only confirmed my feelings. Here you can go to any site or location, and no one will tell you "no". On the contrary, the locals seem to be happy with the attention - they smile and get involved in the process. Sometimes I catch myself thinking that they themselves are enjoying this atmosphere of freedom.
Now I am counting the days until my next trip to my beloved Thailand. These memories warm my soul, and I hope that my photos and stories have conveyed to you at least a part of that comfort and joy.
I write my texts myself, correct mistakes and translate via ChatGPT (which is not a violation on Hive)!
All photos were taken by me personally - I am a beginner photographer, so I ask professionals not to judge strictly.
Thank you for sharing these moments with me! Until new stories and new holidays!
