This blog is a personal journal of all the movies, Tv-Shows, & Games I consume during a year which enhances my overall experience. Sinners (7.9/10)
The movie starts with a guy covered in blood entering a church service with a broken guitar in his hand along with some quick jumpscare flashbacks. This was followed by a screen saying "One Day Earlier". So the entire movie pretty much resolve around the events of 1 day and 1 night.

The story basically is about 2 Gangster Brothers who came back from the big city and buy a barn to make that into a night club both as a business and for black people to have a good time at. In the first act, the pretty much gather all the people they need to make opening night fun with some musicians of which one is also a lead role. Aside from this they also find people to serve drinks and prepare food and such while gathering people to come to the party with all of the main characters one by one being introduced.

The best way that I would describe this movie is something that has the setting and vibe of Red Dead Redemption 2 with black people and indeed Vampires which makes this a rather bloody movie at the end. While it's a rather strange combination, it also kind of worked well especially thanks to a nice ending.
Movie Plot (Spoiler Free):
"Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back.."
There are many things where this movie stands out as it has excellent visuals of the 1930's, the music also really stands out and the acting across the board was great. The story itself kind of went in a strange direction and I'm glad that I picked up on the 'vampires' thing going into this. The setting of this story that took place in a day and a night also just worked really well and the ending was pretty satisfying. I'm quite sure there is a lot of hidden deeper meaning in this movie but I didn't really need it to enjoy it.
Trailer Which I'm glad that I didn't watch before seeing this movie...

Conclusion
I fully understand why this movie gets a lot of praise as it's just excellent accross the board in so many ways. I highly enjoyed it even though the Vampire storyline kind of had to grow on me a bit. A great ending lifted my sicre up a couple points as it increased my overall enjoyment and appreciation to where I'm scoring it a 7.9/10 and this without really having a clue or caring about a deeper meaning.
