I’ll tell you a bit about the lore of this card, and of course, along with the final outcome, I’ll show you the creation process.
Hola amigos, comunidad de Splinterlands, Alien art y todo Hive, espero estén teniendo un lindo día. Hoy regresamos con más arte y un dibujo que me gustó mucho el resultado final. Les contaré un poco del Lore de esta carta y por supuesto junto al resultado final les mostraré el proceso de creación.
The protagonist of today's fan art is none other than Djinn Apprentice, so as always, let's take a look at what the Splinterlands wiki says about this card: Djinn Apprentices are young magic users who seek to strengthen their power under the guidance of more powerful djinn. With the arrival of the Chaos Legion, the djinn divided into factions: some embraced the chaos, others opposed it, and some simply distanced themselves. Djinn Apprentices chose to follow Djinn Inferni, believing in his vision and mission. Despite being a simple backstory, it is very interesting.
El protagonista del fan art de hoy no es más que Djinn Apprentice, así que como siempre echemos un vistazo a lo que dice la wiki de Splinterlands sobre esta carta: Los Aprendices Djinn son jóvenes usuarios de magia que buscan fortalecer su poder bajo la tutela de djinns más poderosos. Con la llegada de la Legión del Caos, los djinn se dividieron en facciones: algunos abrazaron el caos, otros se opusieron y algunos simplemente se alejaron. Los Aprendices Djinn decidieron seguir a Djinn Inferni, creyendo en su visión y misión. A pesar de ser un trasfondo simple, es muy interesante.
I wanted to emulate the pose of the original card but in a more cartoonish style. I have recently been working with the book Learning the Comic Style by Adam Clay, so there is quite a bit of influence from his practice exercises. Even so, I really like the original pose, which has a lot of strength and dynamism.
Quise emular la pose de la carta original, pero en un estilo más caricaturesco. Hace poco estoy trabajando con el libro de aprender el estilo cómic de Adam Clay, así que hay bastante influencia de sus ejercicios de práctica. Aun así, me gusta mucho la pose original, que tiene mucha fuerza y dinamismo.

I started by sketching the body and pose with base lines, to which I gradually added details. Then I continued with the accessories that characterize the character. I played with linear values and experimented a lot with the use of color and textures. I really liked the final result. But as a picture is worth a thousand words, I’m sharing the creation process in animation format—I hope you like it. A big greeting, and as always, best of luck. Bye!
Empecé haciendo un boceto del cuerpo y la pose con las líneas base, al que fui agregando detalles. Después seguí con los accesorios que caracterizan al personaje. Jugué con valores lineales y experimenté bastante con el uso del color y las texturas. Me gustó mucho el resultado final.
