Introduction
This week's theme is absolutely very interesting and I can't wait to read the posts that the community will generate on this topic.
Freedom for me has three facets.
Freedom is like water for our world. Life on Earth is born from water.
Water, in addition to being the origin of everything, is free to go wherever it wants.
Try to be clearer, for me freedom could be schematized as the water molecule, in which the two hydrogen atoms (at the base of the representation of the molecule) represent freedom of expression and a dignified life. At the top of the molecule, where there is oxygen, we have financial freedom.
Below we see in detail what I think about freedom
Freedom of expression

If we think that our freedom is sick, that is, that it has the flu, the first symptom that can be felt is freedom of expression. Do you feel that you can say anything? In this era, do you think you can free your thoughts without being persecuted?
If we try to give vent to our thoughts on any traditional social network, we will suffer consequences.
I know people who have been subjected to unjustified lawsuits simply because they became inconvenient opposition councilors. They simply did their job well, were accused of defamation and taken to court. They won the case, but for the entire mandate they were opposition for 15% of the time, the rest they dedicated to proving their innocence in front of the judges.
As far as I'm concerned, we do not live in an era where there is total freedom of expression, or rather, our freedom of expression is limited.
In our diagram of the water molecule, freedom of expression represents the hydrogen atom on the left.
A dignified life

Having a dignified life is another symptom of freedom. In our molecular scheme it is the hydrogen atom that is on the left of the representation of the water molecule.
Having a dignified life helps us significantly to feel free. Let me give you an example: thirty years ago with a salary you could live, get some satisfaction (buy a musical instrument, buy a computer) and save money. Today with a salary you can make it to the end of the month, that is, only the first thing left among those described above, which is to live. For many, the era of taking some satisfaction and saving money is over.
So, consequently, today we are less free than thirty years ago, because we are forced exclusively to work to live.
In a certain sense, it is as if I were more of a slave to capitalism today than thirty years ago.
Financial freedom

In the water molecule, the center, or if you like the heart, is represented by oxygen. Oxygen binds to the two hydrogen atoms through covalent bonds.
Here lies the sense of absolute freedom.
If we talk about freedom, in a capitalist world, we cannot consider ourselves completely free if we do not have financial freedom.
Let's go back to our formula of freedom that we have equated to the water molecule.
Let's admit that we have both freedom of expression and a dignified life, we still could not consider ourselves free because we do not possess that oxygen atom, or financial freedom, which makes us truly free.
If we do not have that, we will still dedicate our life to something we do not like, but that we must do to live.
The free person is the one who can organize his day, who can generate money in the way he likes best, who can think of others because he no longer has to save himself.
Conclusions
In my opinion, freedom is, that is, it exists when there is:
-Freedom of expression
-A dignified life
-Financial freedom

Introduzione
Tema assolutamente molto interessante quello di questa settimana e non vedo l’ora di leggere i post che la comunità genererà su questo argomento.
La libertà per me ha tre sfaccettature.
La libertà è come l’acqua per il nostro mondo. La vita sulla Terra nasce dall'acqua.
L’acqua, oltre ad essere l’origine di tutto, è libera di andare dove vuole.
Prova ad essere più chiaro, per me la libertà si potrebbe schematizzare come la molecola dell’acqua, in cui i due atomi di idrogeno (alla base della rappresentazione della molecola) rappresentano la libertà di espressione ed una vita dignitosa. Al vertice della molecola, dove c’è l’ossigeno, abbiamo la libertà finanziaria.
Qui di seguito vediamo nel dettaglio cosa penso io sulla libertà
Libertà di espressione

Se pensiamo che la nostra libertà sia malata, cioè che abbia l’influenza, il primo sintomo che si può avvertire è la libertà di espressione. Voi sentite che potete dire qualsiasi cosa? In questa epoca pensate di poter liberare il vostro pensiero senza essere perseguitati?
Se proviamo a dare sfogo ad un nostro pensiero su un qualsiasi social network tradizionale, subiremo delle conseguenze.
Conosco persone che hanno subito querele ingiustificate solo perché erano diventati consiglieri scomodi di opposizione. Semplicemente facevano bene il loro lavoro, sono stati accusati di diffamazione e portati in tribunale. Hanno vinto la causa, ma per tutto il mandato hanno fatto opposizione per il 15% del tempo, il resto l’hanno dedicato a dimostrare la propria innocenza davanti ai giudici.
Per quanto mi riguarda non viviamo in un’epoca dove esiste una totale libertà di espressione, o meglio, la nostra libertà di espressione è limitata.
Nel nostro schema della molecola dell’acqua, la libertà di espressione rappresenta l’atomo di idrogeno sulla sinistra.
Una vita dignitosa

Avere una vita dignitosa è un altro sintomo di libertà. Nel nostro schema molecolare è l’atomo di idrogeno che sta alla sinistra della rappresentazione della molecola dell'acqua.
Avere una vita dignitosa ci aiuta notevolmente a sentirci liberi. Provo a fare un esempio, trent’anni fa con uno stipendio si riusciva a campare, a togliersi qualche soddisfazione (acquistare uno strumento musicale, acquistare un computer) e a risparmiare. Oggi con uno stipendio si riesce ad arrivare a fine mese, cioè rimane solo la prima cosa tra quelle descritte prima, che è campare. Per molti è finita l’era di togliersi qualche soddisfazione e di risparmiare dei soldi.
Quindi, di conseguenza, oggi si è meno liberi di trent’anni fa, perché si è costretti esclusivamente a lavorare per campare.
In un certo senso, è come se io oggi fossi più schiavo del capitalismo di trent’anni fa.
Libertà finanziaria

Nella molecola dell’acqua, il centro, o se vogliamo il cuore, è rappresentato dall’ossigeno. L’ossigeno si lega ai due atomi di idrogeno attraverso i legami covalenti.
Qui giace il senso della libertà in assoluto.
Se parliamo di libertà, in un mondo capitalistico, non ci si può ritenere completamente liberi se non abbiamo la libertà finanziaria.
Torniamo alla nostra formula della libertà che abbiamo eguagliato alla molecola dell’acqua.
Ammettiamo di avere, sia la libertà di espressione, che una vita dignitosa, non potremmo comunque considerarci liberi perché non possediamo quell’atomo di ossigeno, ovvero la libertà finanziaria, che ci rende liberi veramente.
Se non abbiamo quella, dedicheremo comunque la nostra vita a qualcosa che non ci piace, ma che dobbiamo fare per vivere.
La persona libera è quella che può organizzarsi la giornata, che può generare denaro nella maniera che più gli aggrada, che può pensare agli altri perché non deve più salvare sé stesso.
Conclusioni
Secondo me la libertà è, cioè esiste quando c’è:
-Libertà di espressione
-Una vita dignitosa
-Libertà finanziaria
