Thursday for me seemed to be very quiet. We were at home enjoying a well-deserved rest, because going out on the streets this time of year is crazy. The roads are full of cars going from here to there, and not to mention the beaches, they are super crowded! We decided to stay at home to avoid the chaos, enjoying our own tranquility, until my cell phone rang.
The call changed the course of our afternoon. I was informed that I was to report to the Unik Hotel for a water check. It turned out that the hotel, anticipating the large influx of tourists, had stocked their tanks with more water than usual and required a quality check. I knew it was an important task, as it is always essential to ensure that the service offered is impeccable.

El jueves para mí parecía ser muy tranquilo. Estábamos en casa disfrutando de un merecido descanso, porque salir a la calle en esta época es una locura. Las vías están repletas de carros que van de aquí para allá, y ni hablar de las playas, ¡están súper llenas! Decidimos quedarnos en casa para evitar el caos, disfrutando de nuestra propia tranquilidad, hasta que sonó mi celular.
La llamada cambió el rumbo de nuestra tarde. Me informaron que debía presentarme en el Hotel Unik para realizar una comprobación del agua. Resulta que el hotel, anticipándose al gran flujo de turistas, había surtido sus tanques con más agua de lo habitual y requerían una verificación de calidad. Sabía que era una tarea importante, ya que siempre es fundamental garantizar que el servicio ofrecido sea impecable.
It was almost 6:00 p.m. when my husband and I left for the hotel. Although the traffic was a bit heavy, we made it without major setbacks. The check-in was fairly quick and easy; everything was within the established parameters. We made sure that the water was adequate for hotel use and consumption, which is essential to maintain the quality of service, especially in high season.
Hotel Unik was impeccable and very well prepared to receive tourists. However, this year all expectations were exceeded, with a higher flow of visitors than expected. For this reason, the hotel decided to order three additional water trucks to ensure that their tanks were completely full. This would allow them to operate smoothly throughout the week, keeping guests comfortable and satisfied.
After finishing our work, we left the hotel and I took the opportunity to take some pictures of the scenery outside. Unfortunately, it was not possible to take pictures inside the hotel due to the large number of tourists and the staff working tirelessly to serve them. Even so, it was nice to see how everything was working perfectly and how the hotel team was striving to offer the best.
Eran casi las 6:00 p.m. cuando salimos mi esposo y yo rumbo al hotel. Aunque el tráfico estaba un poco pesado, logramos llegar sin mayores contratiempos. La comprobación fue bastante rápida y sencilla; todo estaba dentro de los parámetros establecidos. Nos aseguramos de que el agua fuera adecuada para el uso y consumo en el hotel, lo cual es esencial para mantener la calidad del servicio, especialmente en temporada alta.
El Hotel Unik estaba impecable y muy bien preparado para recibir a los turistas. Sin embargo, este año se superaron todas las expectativas, con un flujo de visitantes mayor al previsto. Por esta razón, el hotel decidió pedir tres gandolas adicionales de agua para garantizar que sus tanques estuvieran completamente llenos. Esto les permitiría operar sin problemas durante toda la semana, manteniendo a los huéspedes cómodos y satisfechos.
Después de finalizar nuestro trabajo, salimos del hotel y aproveché para tomar algunas fotografías del paisaje exterior. Lamentablemente, no fue posible tomar fotos dentro del hotel debido a la gran cantidad de turistas y al personal que trabajaba sin descanso para atenderlos. Aun así, fue agradable observar cómo todo estaba funcionando perfectamente y cómo el equipo del hotel se esforzaba por ofrecer lo mejor.
With the task completed, we decided to relax a bit. We went to the Parque Costa Azul shopping center market, where we bought a bag of bread to go with dinner at home. It was nice to stroll through the market and enjoy a quiet moment after the day's activities.
Con la tarea completada, decidimos relajarnos un poco. Fuimos al mercado del centro comercial Parque Costa Azul, donde compramos una bolsa de pan para acompañar la cena en casa. Era agradable pasear por el mercado y disfrutar de un momento tranquilo después de las actividades del día.
However, the return home proved to be a bit stressful. Vehicles leaving the beaches flooded the main roads, forming long lines that seemed endless. It took us quite a while to get home, but we were in no hurry and took advantage of the ride to chat and enjoy each other's company. In the end, patience was our best ally.
Sin embargo, el regreso a casa resultó ser un poco estresante. Los vehículos que salían de las playas inundaron las vías principales, formando largas colas que parecían interminables. Nos tomó bastante tiempo llegar a casa, pero no teníamos prisa y aprovechamos el trayecto para conversar y disfrutar de nuestra compañía mutua. Al final, la paciencia fue nuestra mejor aliada.
Dear #lifestyle friends, this is how our Thursday afternoon went. Although it started out quiet, it ended up being a day full of activities, small challenges and pleasant moments that we shared together, that makes every day have something special to offer us.
