The Macro Moment: Over 11 Million Jobs Unfilled In US

A while back we were told there were almost 10 millin jobs that were unfilled. The reason, so they claimed, was the unemployment benefits the Federal Government was handing out. If that was done away with, those who were getting paid to stay home would be forced to go back to work.

Today, we got the updated numbers. It is now three months after the Federal Unemployment benefits went away and the job openings topped 11 million.

What gives?

In this video I discuss how the reason for the job openings was not the case. We were told by employers (and other talking heads) that would chance with the ending of the program. It obviously did not. So now, what is the reason?
