When we reached the venue, the main area was still closed, so we just sat on the floor waiting for it to open. We were both in zombie mode, but our adrenaline was high. We were so excited that we haven't really thought about sleep.
After a while, we were able to get inside the venue and initially sat down on the chairs provided for the event. But later on, as the program progressed, we were allowed to get nearer the stage and just squat on the floor. My bestie and I hurriedly went there and took the best spot possible... and no, it's not because it was near the stage, but because we were literally beside Reika-sama. <3

Aside from the main event, there were also other displays... It's Gunpla (Gundam Plastic). One of my friends (can you see the afro guy on the far end? haha) is a collector and he belongs to this group. They usually display their robots every cosplay, game or anime convention or event.
The afro guy from the previous photo. I call him spidey. We were classmates in BioLab during my University days. I was quite close to his group of friends back then even they were my babies (2-3 years younger than me) because they were into either K-pop, anime or gaming. I was the only nursing student in that class. I just had to get some credit, but I'm glad I did. haha
Bestie and I also bought Reika-sama's photobook and had our pictures with Reika-sama taken.
After the main event, we were able to take photos of them on stage. It's Reika-sama and Rayland (a Cebuano cosplayer). They're both my crushes. Reika-sama remains as my girl crush even until now. She's actually coming back to Cebu next month in an event, but I'm still in two minds whether to go or not. I still have friends from the cosplay/anime community here, but I have been inactive for a long time. I guess the last time I went was around 5-6 years ago. Adulting is hard.. xD haha
Anyway, the event ended around 6PM that day. My bestie and I had some dinner before heading home which is around 2 hours away. We were awake for around 24 hours, but we didn't feel tired until we got home. haha The adrenaline has finally subsided... it was a Saturday well-spent, but I believe we slept a lot the next day. hahah
Fast forward 10 years later, I still have my Reika-sama photobook. It's my treasure after all. <3
