Today again I show you a traditional dish of our Venezuelan food, besides delicious is a rice with chicken and smoked bones, although it takes many ingredients is easy to prepare, I tell you that it is ideal when we have visitors at home, because this is one of the dishes that gets us out of trouble yields much and best of all is that the family enjoys it for its flavor and colorful. I hope you like it.
01 kilo de pollo, 02 tazas de arroz, 250 grs de huesos ahumados, 02 ramas de cebollín, 01 pimiento rojo, 01 zanahoria, 1/4 taza de guisantes, 1/2 taza de maíz, 01 cucharada de aceitunas, 1/2 cucharada de alcaparras, 02 dientes de ajo, 01 cucharada de cúrcuma, 01 cucharadita de ajo en polvo, 01 cucharada de salsa de soja, sal y pimienta al gusto.
01 kilo of chicken, 02 cups of rice, 250 grams of smoked bones, 02 sprigs of chives, 01 red bell pepper, 01 carrot, 1/4 cup of peas, 1/2 cup of corn, 01 tablespoon of olives, 1/2 tablespoon of capers, 02 cloves of garlic, 01 tablespoon of turmeric, 01 teaspoon of garlic powder, 01 tablespoon of soy sauce, salt and pepper to taste.
The first thing to do is the rice. In a pot we are going to put 02 cups of water, salt and turmeric. When it is boiling, wash the rice and add it, cook over low heat covered until it dries. The rice should be loose. This can be done the day before.
In a bowl put the chicken, season it with salt, pepper, garlic powder and soy sauce, mix and let it marinate for half an hour.

Después lavamos las verduras y cortamos los cebollines, el pimiento rojo y el ajo en dados, la zanahoria, la pelamos y la rallamos.
Then we wash the vegetables and cut the scallions, red bell pepper and garlic into cubes, the carrot, peel and grate it.
In a pot we are going to put two spoonfuls of oil. When it is hot, add the chicken, sauté for a few minutes and add the smoked bones. Continue cooking, stirring constantly.

A continuación, añadir las verduras: primero la cebolleta y el ajo, seguido del pimiento y luego la zanahoria rallada. Seguir removiendo hasta que se sofrían y añadir una taza de agua, las aceitunas y las alcaparras, cocer hasta que estén bien tiernas y el agua se haya reducido un poco.

A continuación, añadir el arroz cocido y mezclar con un tenedor para que no se apelmace. Seguido, añadir los guisantes y el maíz, mezclar y cocinar a fuego lento durante dos minutos para que todos los sabores se integren y estén listos.
