HELLO EVERYONE !!
To be honest, I hadn’t checked on SPLINTERLANDS in years...
But when I visited the website recently — OMG! So many new things! I was staring at the screen like, “What is that? And that?!”
Everything looked so fresh and advanced, like I’d just stepped into a totally new world.
But you know what made me smile?
Even after all this time, my old ALPHA BETA cards are still there, like waiting me patiently.
Back in the early days of Splinterlands, I was super addicted — buying cards almost every time I had extra money.
Sadly, I didn’t have any real-life friends who were into the game with me.
And when I started traveling outside my country, I slowly stopped playing... not because I didn’t love the game, but because of bad internet and shifting priorities.
Eventually, after returning to my hometown, I completely forgot about it.
Honestly, the only HIVE-based game I continued playing at that time was @risingstar — it was more manageable with my lifestyle.
Fast forward to just a few days ago, I was introduced to MOONKART — a new game under the ArcadeColony ecosystem.
I gave it a try and wow, it’s so much fun! Especially because it involves NFT cards, strategy, and car racing — everything I enjoy in one place.
While exploring the platform, I stumbled upon Splinterlands again .
Like seeing an old friend after years — surprised, happy, and a little nostalgic.
It’s amazing to see the game still going strong.

The was also the GENESIS LEAGUE GOALS , i guess it might almost the same like @rabona , if you still remember it and yes , i agree with you that im an old fossil here. This might the next game i want to play . :).
SPLINTERLANDS
I making quick exploration to some of familiar terms here . The first one was to check my deck at card that i own :
The was 77 cards at all of that with power of 17,120 ( i also dont know what is the significant of the power of it )
And of course , there was nothing at modern cards .
The second stuff that i do was to try go into the ranks (my favourite arena long time ago)
Eventually my card only can be play in SURVIVAL MODE but it temporary disable until futher notice. I realise the season count down timer there . I dont know if the season for all the challenge or only for the MODERN card survival .
While in survival mode , it seem i can join the battle but i dont have any cards for modern sets . So , i guess it ll be delay .
COME BACK FOR THE GAMES
Yes , i would love too . But , im still deciding which card should i start . Of course i can start by buying the card from the market but i still need to make my own research on what card should i buy and i think it ll cost a lot of money just to come into the game again. And there was other stuff that i dont know like boost , etc that increase chance of winning.
Of course the regular card is not that expensive but the summoner or archon is a bit expensive .
Or should i just buy the starter pack :

Starter : 1000 dec
Standard : 4000 dec
Alchemy : 12,000 dec
Legendary : 24,000 dec
If it was you , what should you suggest ?
For now im thinking to build my deck by buying cheaper cards , as it grow stronger i might start to buy from the pack or get better card from the rewards. Plus , in same time i can learn the latest skill from the modern set (it ll take a lot of thinking on how to use the best of it and counter the enemy skills.
I guess thats all for today , you can looking forward my comeback in this game . :). Cheers.
