There was this guy on Facebook local market the other day, selling all kinds of old junk after renovating his house.
One of the pieces caught my eye, as it seemed like a fun numismatic piece to own and the price felt cheap. Specifically, 5 usd.

My guess is that both coins (?) are replicas of old Chinese coins or something. And they are just huge. Here's a photo with a moto g23 for comparison:

I used both chatgpt and grok in an effort to translate the Chinese characters but it felt like they both hallucinated and came up with bs.
So yeah, no idea if they are real replicas or the Chinese letters are just made up 😄

Regardless, as I said it's a fun item to own. They are both quite chunky and came up in a decent frame ready to hang on a wall or whatever.
Fun as it maybe, it's pretty much useless so I have already relisted it on Facebook market for 20 usd. Maybe I'll get lucky and pull an easy buck out of it, lmao 😂
