✨¡Buenas tardes, amigos de holozing!✨ Como siempre, contenta de pasarme nuevamente por acá a compartirles una bonita idea de colgante, inspirado en Cinella. He elaborado pocas creaciones con Cinella porque me cuesta tener algunas ideas en las que la criatura sea la que llama más la atención, pero esta vez pensé en una temática de jardín y como que está en su hábitat natural, rodeada de lindas flores.

I've made few creations with Cinella because I struggle with ideas where the creature is the most striking, but this time I thought of a garden theme, as if she were in her natural habitat, surrounded by beautiful flowers.

✨ PROCEDIMIENTO | ✨ PROCESS

✨ PASO 1:

Lo primero que hice fue tomar la cartulina o cartón delgado para hacer la base del colgante. En mi caso, las medidas que tracé fueron de un plato pequeño, pero igualmente, las medidas fueron de 15 cm de circunferencia y recorté. Al estar lista la base, recorté una cinta con la tela del color deseado de 8 cm, la doblé en dos y pegué las puntas por detrás para poder colgar.

✨ STEP 1:

The first thing I did was take the cardstock or thin cardboard to make the base of the pendant. In my case, the measurements I traced were from a small plate, but the circumference was 15 cm, and I cut them out. Once the base was ready, I cut an 8 cm ribbon from the fabric of my choice, folded it in half, and glued the ends to the back so it could be hung.

✨ PASO 2:

Luego, lo que hice fue elaborar la idea que tenía para este diseño que, en este caso, y como dije al inicio, era elaborar a Cinella en su hábitat natural, rodeada con algunas flores de diferentes colores y ella volando hacia ellas. Así que, al tener el diseño listo en la hoja blanca, transferí a los colores correspondientes de foami, como explico a continuación:

✨Cuerpo de Cinella: 3 cm x 3 cm en foami rojo.
✨Cabeza de Cinella: 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm en foami crema.
✨Corazones para las antenas: 0.8 cm en foami rojo.
✨Flores básicas: 5 cm x 5 cm en foami rosa y morado.
✨Margarita: 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm en foami blanco.
✨Centro de las flores de 1.5 cm de circunferencia en foami amarillo.
✨Tallos: 9 cm x 0.5 cm en foami verde.
✨Hojas: 2 cm en foami verde.

✨ STEP 2:

Next, I elaborated on the idea I had for this design, which, in this case, and as I said at the beginning, was to create Cinella in her natural habitat, surrounded by some flowers of different colors, flying toward them. So, once I had the design ready on the white sheet, I transferred it to the corresponding colors of foam, as explained below:

✨Cinella's body: 3 cm x 3 cm in red foam.
✨Cinella's head: 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm in cream foam.
✨Hearts for the antennae: 0.8 cm in red foam.
✨Basic flowers: 5 cm x 5 cm in pink and purple foam.
✨Daisy: 3.5 cm x 3.5 cm in white foam.
✨Flower centers: 1.5 cm in circumference made of yellow foam.
✨Stems: 9 cm x 0.5 cm made of green foam.
✨Leaves: 2 cm made of green foam.

✨ PASO 3:

Al tener todas las piezas listas, es momento de dar color a los bordes con pinturas o marcadores y difuminamos con un pañito de algodón. Para todas las piezas utilicé los mismos colores, pero tonos más oscuros, y al estar secas les di más detalles a todas las flores, hojas, tallos y, por supuesto, al rostro y cuerpo de Cinella, con marcadores para que fuera más preciso.

✨ STEP 3:

Once all the pieces are ready, it's time to color the edges with paints or markers, blending them with a cotton cloth. I used the same colors for all the pieces, but in darker tones. Once they were dry, I added more detail to all the flowers, leaves, stems, and, of course, Cinella's face and body, using markers for more precision.

✨ PASO 4:

Al estar secas todas las piezas, pasé por la plancha y, con la parte de atrás de un pincel o marcador que tenga forma ovalada, le di forma infladita a todas las piezas, menos al cuerpo y cabeza de Cinella, como se muestra en las siguientes imágenes:

✨ STEP 4:

Once all the pieces were dry, I ironed them and, using the back of a paintbrush or oval-shaped marker, gave them a slightly inflated shape, except for Cinella's body and head, as shown in the following images:

✨ PASO 5:

Al estar listas las piezas, es momento de comenzar a ordenar las flores en la base y, al tener el orden que más me gustó, pegué las piezas, para finalmente pegar a Cinella de un ladito, como llegando a ver las flores o simplemente de paso por ahí. Obviamente, el fondo no se podía quedar así, pálido, así que, con marcador negro de punta fina, le hice un par de estrellitas o asteriscos por todo ese fondo.

✨ STEP 5:

Once the pieces were ready, it was time to start arranging the flowers on the base. Once I had the order I liked best, I glued the pieces together, finally gluing Cinella on one side, as if I were just peeking through the flowers or just passing by. Obviously, the background couldn't stay that pale, so, with a fine-tipped black marker, I drew a couple of little stars or asterisks all over the background.
