Prelude
Good day to all, hope that all of you are having a good week so far and having many memorable battles in Splinterlands. With the new bloodlines introduced, especially when enabled by their respective Archon, some really elevated the whole lineup but some we are still looking at how they perform. So today we will take a brief look at a match that consist of Orcs.

**Orcs Bloodline

This is the Archon for Orc which gives enrage for bloodline dominion ability. Might not be as crazy as probably what elves and dwarves can offer but certainly still do well and help to make the orcs hit even harder when they get hurt.

So let's see how the match turn out.

Selection Analysis
We have only 3 splinters available for selection - Fire, Water and Death. A large pool of mana is available so bigger mana costing cards can be used and with close range, it actually benefit orc bloodline due to the larger number of range attackers in orc.

So here is my selection of the lineup. I've chosen to go with Gorgus The Endless from Orc Bloodline. It is great that the summoner give -1 range armour from opponent lineup and enrage for orcs and for this match I have 3 of them that can get the enrage. In terms of tank, I go with the trusty water tank, Commander Slade that will make opponent melee attacks lower upon getting hit and itself having dodge to improve survivability. Next in the lineup is an interesting one, Thragun, a double attack card that has reach and also reach which is such a nice thing especially with close range. Next will be Steppe Stalker that has close range by itself but a decent range attacker. Following which is Tatiana Blayde which has the bloodlust to make stronger as she kills and finally Grimward Ruinshot to end also with a decent stat line.

On my opponent end, my opponent used Dolfar Darflak which is able to call upon cards from both death and fire splinter. A very hard hitting lineup is picked by my opponent that had huge attacks be it melee or range cards. A Drybone Megalodon is use with Chimney Wallstop as support which is no easy to deal with as both can really cause loads of problem. The next 4 cards in the line up are all hard hitting ones with either sneak, opportunity or even being able to reduce my speed upon hit of which 2 of them can land 3 damage with ease and this posses an uphill task for me.

2 very different kind of lineup with a very hard hitting lineup picked by my opponent. Let' see how the match went round by round.

Round by Round Synopsis

Round 1 - Not bad for a first round where we manage to kill off Drybone Megalodon once while the backline and frontline held on. Grimward Ruinshot is enraged due to the hits.

Round 2 - Drybone Megalodon get smashed by my hard hitting range attacker and fell for good but the backline sneak attacks were a little too much for Grimward Ruinshot, causing it to fall once and then reborned.

image.png

Round 3 - Grimward fell for good while the continuous barrage from the front made it tough for my opponent as we also managed to take Chimney Wallstop as well. Still gotta be mindful of the sneakers.

Round 4, Tatiana Blayde holds the backline while front clear offs Mad Ogre Anarchist which saw how much alue Thraghun gave.

image.png

Round 5 - While I did have cards falling and reborned, the pressure ramped up on my opponent where all that's left are just range attackers.

Round 6, Remains were cleared and gotten the victory as the orcs came up on top. Wha an interesting outcome against a full squad of heavy hitters.

Battle Summary
While I am still a little puzzled how did I even win, but I do see cards like Thraghun doing really well and smashing opponent cards with a breeze and helping to push through the front with the double attack due to the ruleset.
