One of my favorite decks in Splinterlands is the dragon deck because I can combine it with another deck, which means I can use 2 decks in battle, which will greatly expand the strategies I can use.
When it comes to choosing a summoner for battle, Quix the Devious is my second favorite summoner in the dragon deck and today I will show him in action through a battle.
This is a battle where choosing Quix the Devious was the best option because if I hadn't decreased the ranged attack of my opponent's monsters, I would have been defeated.
This battle took place in the Champion 3 league and both players used max level monsters.
My strategy was to have a strong defense in the Frontline, in the Backline and have a strong attack to destroy my opponent's backline.

The Summoner I selected was Quix the Devious as I mentioned before.

In the first position I selected Arkemis the Bear, he will be useful by granting +2 armor to my monsters with his Protect ability and he will reduce the attack of the monsters he attacks with his Halving ability.

In the second position I selected Goblin Psychic, he will be useful by healing Arkemis the Bear with his Tank Heal ability and will also reduce magic attack by -1 with his Silence ability.

In the third position I selected Sand Worm, he will be useful by attacking my opponent's backline with his Sneak ability.

In the fourth position I selected Dhampir Infiltrator and like Sand Worm he will be useful by attacking my opponent's backline with his Sneak ability.

In the fifth position, I selected the Supply Runner, which will be useful in increasing the speed of my monsters by +1 with its Swiftness ability and also increasing the life of my monsters by +1 with its Strengthen ability.

In the sixth position, I selected the Mycelic Slipspawn, which will be useful in defending the backline since it has a lot of life and will be the main target of my opponent's attacks since it has the Taunt ability. In addition, it will decrease the speed of my enemy's monsters by -1 with its Slow ability.
With this strategy, I had a strong defense in the Frontline and Backline, in addition to being able to easily defeat the monsters in my opponent's backline. But what really changed the course of the battle was Quix the Devious, because if I hadn't decreased the ranged attack of my opponent's monsters, I would have inevitably been defeated.
In addition to spending little mana, Quix the Devious is very useful in battles, as you can see.

Na sexta posição eu selecionei a Mycelic Slipspawn, ela vai ser útil defendendo a backline já que possui muita vida e vai ser o principal alvo dos ataques do meu adversário já que ela possui a habilidade Taunt, além disso ela vai diminuir a velocidade dos monstros do meu inimigo em -1 com sua habilidade Slow.
Com essa estratégia eu tinha uma forte defesa na Frontline e na Backline, além de conseguir derrotar facilmente os monstros da backline do meu adversário. Mas o que realmente mudou o rumo da batalha foi o Quix the Devious porque se eu não tivesse diminuído o ataque ranged dos monstros do meu adversário, eu teria alcançado uma inevitável derrota.
Além de gastar pouca mana, o Quix the Devious é muito útil nas batalhas como vocês podem ver.
