Hey que tal amigos, como están?, bueno acá les traigo una aventura de fin de semana demasiado increíble, sinceramente uno de los mejores sábados que he tenido acá en España, y es que por ciertos motivos hicimos una plan flash para visitar un pueblito llamado El Escorial, que esta ubicado a 1h y 30min de Madrid en tren, la verdad es que los planes estaban entre visitar Toledo, Aranjuez o El Escorial, y nos decidimos por el ultimo.
Para llegar acá no hicimos una ruta turística o sinceramente no nos preparamos con anticipación, simplemente 2 días antes dijimos que viajaríamos, sin saber los horarios ni nada, al estar en Atocha íbamos a usar el Google maps y listo 😂.
Para esta aventura nos anotamos en el plan, @daniel2001, @stefy.music y @geral.anto1, como dije todo de imprevisto esperando que el pueblito fueran tan mágico como los tiktoks que habíamos visto, que por cierto había nevado acá y la vista era increíble.
Pero menos charla y ahora vamos a lo nuestro.

¿Cómo llegamos a El Escorial?
Bueno es sencillo llegar la verdad, nosotros utilizamos la opción tren, en la estación de Atocha tomamos la linea C2/C8 que va directo hasta este lugar y es la ultima estación, sin embargo creo que hay buses directos que también van acá.
Para ello utilizamos el abono C2, que tiene un costo de 32 euros y con ello también te puedes movilizar en el pueblito, como yo tenia pago el B2, solo pague el resto de la diferencia y fueron 4 euros.
Lo siguiente es que los trenes salen cada hora, tienen horarios especiales, por lo cual estábamos 40min antes en la estación de Atocha y tuvimos que esperar para poder embarcar, por lo cual nos fuimos a Dunnkin a comprar un café y unas donas mientras esperábamos, otra cosa graciosa es que justo cuando íbamos saliendo de la estación nos regalaron Fuze tea de prueba😂
Ahora si siguiente estación El Escorial, como mencione esperamos el tiempo correspondiente y nos fuimos hasta el punto de destino, sin saber que visitaríamos, solo sabíamos del Real Monasterio pero no teníamos ni la mas mínima idea de que nos encontraríamos en el camino.
El trayecto fue largo, pasamos al lado de otros pueblitos de los cuales no tenia ni idea y además de ello ya acá el clima cambia, es mucho mas fresco que en Madrid, aunque hay sol, se siente un frio considerable, por ello ya entendí por que nevó en este lugar.
El camino fue tal cual de 1h y 30min y llegamos a la ultima estación a las 2:50pm, ya que salimos un poco tarde la verdad, pero contando con que en primavera anoche mas tarde teníamos suficiente luz de día aun.
Una cosa que nos sorprendió totalmente fue la estructura del pueblito, sinceramente todo se ve tan limpio y muy colonial, es como si el tiempo se fuera congelado acá, porque habían casas muy antiguas de piedra y la modernización de edificios no ha llegado acá aun, no tanto como en Madrid que el Sol no da directamente porque los edificios son muy altos y son demasiados.
Salimos de la estación de la renfe sin saber a donde ir, pero usando el google maps, decidimos ir directamente a San Lorenzo del Escorial, que caminando serian 35min, pero en bus era un poco mas de 8 min, así que caminamos unas cuantas calles solo para tomar fotografías y conocer.
Justo cuando íbamos a tomar el bus a @geral.anto1, se le ocurrió la idea de seguir caminando para conocer mas, porque justo vio en su mapa, que teníamos un parque gigante a 5min y que habían sitios turísticos que visitar, así que abortamos la misión de subir en bus y nos fuimos caminando.
Sinceramente fue la mejor idea que pudo tener, ya que entramos a unos jardines bellísimos, se llama los Jardines de la Casita del príncipe, que la verdad aun les falta al menos 15 días para que todo este en floración, dentro había rosales, caminos de pinos, caminos de nogales, plátanos de sombra y por su puesto la casita del príncipe que es ahora patrimonio de España, y en su tiempo fue usada por el Rey Carlos IV como casa de campo.
La entrada a la casa es de 5euros, pero entrar a los jardines no nos costo nada, sin duda alguna ver los rosales de acá en floración debe ser espectacular, además que hay lavanda por todos lados, también debe ser un espectáculo ver las flores.
Este recorrido nos tomó 2h, caminamos, descansamos, comimos algunas chuches que llevamos, tomamos infinitas fotografías y tratamos de recorrer todo, pero es demasiado grande para hacerlo en tan poco tiempo.
Ya comenzaba a caer la tarde y era momento de ir al Monasterio, creo que esa fue la caminata mas larga que hemos hecho hasta ahora, además de ello la subida era demasiado cuesta arriba, por lo cual nos tardamos otros 30 min buscando la salida, hasta que por fin a lo lejos se alzaba una estructura demasiado imponente, se hacia notar mucho, era el monasterio, lo primero que me llego a la mente fue el castillo de Hogwarts por lo alto de las torres, parecía de película literalmente, no me imagino que tal seria el interior.
Comenzamos la subida hasta poder llegar al Real Monasterio y al centro de San Lorenzo, que se ve mucho mas cultural aun, todo me parecía a una serie de netflix, con esas calles de piedra, las estructuras algo completamente diferente para lo que había visto.
Acá un pequeño problema fue no poder entrar al monasterio por falta de tiempo, aunque solo tomamos fotografías desde afuera, entramos al museo y compramos algunos recuerdos, pero no pudimos entrar a los jardines ni otro sitio turístico al rededor. Era un poco mas de 6:30pm y teníamos que comer algo para regresar o continuar caminando un poco.
Nuestra ultima para Burger king, que estaba demasiado lejos, tuvimos que tomar un bus para llegar, además de ello aca los buses pasan cada 30min, fue una completa travesia pero se logro, de regreso fue un poco mas de lo mismo. Sin embargo caminar por el centro de San Lorenzo fue igual de sorprendente.
Finalmente a las 9:15pm aproximadamente, regresamos a casa, luego de un día completo de caminata, sinceramente fue un viaje increíble y una lastima no poder visitar mas sitios, nos dimos cuenta que para hacer un plan travel como este, debemos viajar muy temprano y además de ello llevar comida para hacer paradas y luego seguir caminando y turisteando.
Sin embargo el presupuesto gastado luego de burguer king, dunnkin, los cafés y el viaje, seria de unos 20 euros por persona, algo muy low cost.
A las 12pm llegue a mi casa en Leganés y creo que los chicos un poco mas tarde.
Así que chicos este largo post llega a su final, cualquiera que este o venga a Madrid, mi recomendación es no quedarse solo en el centro, en gran vía, sol, el retiro, este plan es muchísimo mejor, no es muy costoso y la verdad vale la pena 100%.

HHey what's up friends, how are you, well here I bring you an incredible weekend adventure, sincerely one of the best Saturdays I've had here in Spain, and is that for certain reasons we made a flash plan to visit a small town called El Escorial, which is located 1h and 30min from Madrid by train, the truth is that the plans were between visiting Toledo, Aranjuez or El Escorial, and we decided for the last one.
To get here we did not make a tourist route or honestly we did not prepare in advance, just 2 days before we said we would travel, without knowing the schedules or anything, being in Atocha we were going to use Google maps and that's it 😂.
For this adventure we signed up for the plan, @daniel2001, @stefy.music and @geral.anto1, as I said all unexpectedly hoping that the town would be as magical as the tiktoks we had seen, which by the way had snowed here and the view was amazing.
But less talk and now let's get down to business.
How do we get to El Escorial?
Well it is easy to get there, we used the train option, in Atocha station we took the C2/C8 line that goes directly to this place and it is the last station, however I think there are direct buses that also go here.
For this we used the C2 pass, which has a cost of 32 euros and with it you can also move in the town, as I had paid the B2, I only paid the rest of the difference and it was 4 euros.
The next thing is that the trains leave every hour, they have special schedules, so we were 40min before at Atocha station and we had to wait to board, so we went to Dunnkin to buy a coffee and some donuts while we waited, another funny thing is that just as we were leaving the station we were given Fuze tea test😂.
Now if next station El Escorial, as I mentioned we waited the corresponding time and we went to our destination, without knowing what we would visit, we only knew about the Royal Monastery but we had no idea of what we would find on the way.
The journey was long, we passed by other villages of which I had no idea and besides that here the weather changes, it is much cooler than in Madrid, although there is sun, you feel a considerable cold, so I understood why it snowed in this place.
The walk was about 1h and 30min and we arrived at the last station at 2:50pm, since we left a little late, but considering that in spring we had enough daylight even later last night.
One thing that totally surprised us was the structure of the village, honestly everything looks so clean and very colonial, it is as if time was frozen here, because there were very old stone houses and the modernization of buildings has not arrived here yet, not as much as in Madrid that the sun does not give directly because the buildings are very high and there are too many of them.
We left the train station without knowing where to go, but using google maps, we decided to go directly to San Lorenzo del Escorial, which would be 35min walking, but by bus it was a little more than 8 min, so we walked a few streets just to take pictures and get to know it.
Just when we were about to take the bus to @geral.anto1, he came up with the idea of continuing walking to learn more, because he just saw on his map, that we had a giant park 5min away and that there were tourist sites to visit, so we aborted the mission to get on the bus and we went walking.
Honestly it was the best idea he could have had, as we entered some beautiful gardens, it is called the gardens of the Casita del Principe, which the truth is that they still need at least 15 days for everything to be in bloom, inside there were rose bushes, pine paths, paths of walnut trees, plane trees and of course the Casita del Principe which is now heritage of Spain, and in its time was used by King Charles IV as a country house.
The entrance to the house is 5euros, but entering the gardens cost us nothing, without a doubt to see the rose bushes here in bloom must be spectacular, plus there is lavender everywhere, it must also be a spectacle to see the flowers.
This tour took us 2 hours, we walked, rested, ate some snacks we brought, took endless pictures and tried to walk around, but it is too big to do it in such a short time.
The afternoon was beginning to fall and it was time to go to the monastery, I think that was the longest walk we have done so far, besides that the climb was too uphill, so it took us another 30 min looking for the exit, until finally in the distance stood a structure too imposing, it was very noticeable, it was the monastery, the first thing that came to my mind was the Hogwarts castle at the top of the towers, it looked like a movie literally, I can not imagine what the interior would be like.
We started the climb to reach the Royal Monastery and the center of San Lorenzo, which looks much more cultural even, everything seemed to me like a Netflix series, with those stone streets, the structures something completely different for what I had seen.
Here a small problem was not being able to enter the monastery due to lack of time, although we only took pictures from the outside, entered the museum and bought some souvenirs, but we could not enter the gardens or any other tourist site around. It was a little after 6:30pm and we had to eat something to return or continue walking a little.
Our last one to Burger King, which was too far away, we had to take a bus to get there, besides that here the buses run every 30min, it was a complete journey but we made it, on the way back it was a bit more of the same. However walking around downtown San Lorenzo was just as amazing.
Finally at 9:15pm approximately, we returned home, after a full day of walking, honestly it was an incredible trip and a pity not to visit more sites, we realized that to make a travel plan like this, we must travel very early and also take food to make stops and then continue walking and sightseeing.
However the budget spent after burger king, dunnkin, coffees and the trip, would be about 20 euros per person, something very low cost.
At 12pm I arrived at my house in Leganés and I think the kids arrived a little later.
So guys this long post comes to an end, anyone who is or comes to Madrid, my recommendation is not to stay alone in the center, in Gran Via, Sol, El Retiro, this plan is much better, it is not very expensive and the truth is 100% worth it.
