For more travel digests check out #traveldigest.Our winners today🥇 Tenczyn: Destroyed castle or a witness of past?🛸☘️🏰 by @bugaviOne beautiful summer day when we were taken on our 1st solo car trip, my mom had a thing for exploring all the castles in the vicinity of Krakow and so, purely by chance, we ended up at Tenczyn Castle, also known as Techin, which is a historical gem located in the picturesque Rudno region, about 30 km west of Krakow. It was a clear, bright day when I sat down on the long green grass in the clearing in front of the castle and started preparing my brave and faithful friend Zeł for takeoff. There was no need to go inside because there are eyes that will see everything from above. Considering that the entrance is paid in some places, this is a very profitable option and it seems that the security guard was a little sleepy that day😸.This post on Worldmappin - This user on Worldmappin🥈 Las Placetas by @parissousaDuring our trip through the province of La Rioja, Argentina, we stayed in the town of Chilecito. On one of those days, we decided to venture to a mountain refuge called Las Placetas, a true paradise for those seeking rest and connection with nature amidst breathtaking landscapes.
Although the destination invites you to stay for several days to fully enjoy its magic, we only had one day to experience it. So, enthusiastically, we set off in the morning, right after breakfast. The journey to Las Placetas took us approximately an hour, and upon arrival, we were greeted by the yellow river, whose minerals give it that unique color, descending from the Chilecito gold mine.
To continue our journey, we crossed a small bridge that, at first glance, defies all logic in terms of strength. However, with excitement, we crossed that structure that seemed fragile but served its purpose. This time we will start with a trip to one of the most beautiful places of the Cuban geography, the National Park “Valle de Viñales”, located in the province of Pinar del Río and about 184 km west of Havana. In 1999 it was designated a national park of Cuba and in December of the same year it was declared Natural Patrimony of Humanity by UNESCO. It is a place where you can enjoy an environment of incomparable beauty, as well as the great native diversity of the area.
