Greetings my dear Hive community!!!
Good afternoon and happy Saturday to all my dear community!!! πππ
I've been a bit missing, but I'm back. I'll explain the reasons in another post, as this one is to show you my participation this week in the #splinterlands contest.
Actually, this work was meant for last week, but due to different circumstances that happened that week, I decided to leave it for this week, although it almost got pushed to next week, hehehehehe π΅π€π€
The truth is that I made something again with some slight changes. I think I hadn't done it for a while, so it was time to do it again. Also, I wanted to add something else to it that I also hadn't done for a long, long time. I don't even remember when was the last time I did it, and I mean concept art.
And for this, I chose the card called -=β οΈPirate Captainβ οΈ=-. This was the first point I mentioned above. I mean the slight changes I made, as I wanted a pirate girl. But as far as I know, in #splinterlands there is no female pirate, so I had no choice but to adapt the Pirate Captain card to a girl pirate.
But for the rest, I stuck as much as possible to the original card, like the colour palette of the character, as well as the clothes, but adapted, of course, to a girl.
I hope you like the concept art I prepared for this occasion. Now, a little bit about the process of creating this work.

The Pirates of ΞZMΞRΓ are not to be trusted. Their Captains are among the most cunning (and dangerous) creatures in the Splinterlands. Armed with muskets of secret ΞZMΞRΓan make and prepared for any situation, the Pirate Captains sail the seas looking for treasure.

After choosing the card I was going to represent this time, I proceeded to make several thumbnails. After that, I chose the idea that caught my attention the most, which you can see in this image.
-.-
β¨-.-β¨
Once I had a clear idea of what I was going to do, I simply gave shape and volume to better develop the concept I wanted to represent. Originally the character has a sword but in the end I decided to replace it with a bottle of rum in one hand, while in the other he holds his musket.
-.-

I then proceeded to apply colour, using the character's original palette as a reference. After that, I focused on detailing each element carefully, shaping everything. I didn't have an exact sketch, I simply moulded the image until I was satisfied with what I was rendering.
-.-

At this point, I was still tweaking and rendering my work, and everything was taking better shape.

After having everything in better shape, I went on to detail what would be the clothes, among other things, as well as the background, which I was doing little by little, adding different elements until I had everything ready. The skin also looked better, and at this point, I had worked on the hair.
-.-

Once the clothes were finished, I detailed the features of the face better and I also worked on the lighting, both on her and on the environment, among other things. Also, in this part I started to detail the map that is on the table.
-.-

And for the Final, I polished different things a bit more and worked on the lamps I had made, as well as the lighting coming from them. After arranging and polishing each element, my participation is finished. I hope you liked it.
Thank you all for watching my work and for always supporting it! See you another time!!! π€ππ
