What a perfect day for a game of golf! We picked Friday early on in the week as the best possibility to avoid rain. We chose right.

In the winter, the hill that goes up into the forest is a snow tube sliding hill. What better family use for this place when 5 months of the year are ungolfable?

We got halfway through our round on coffee and water so it was time for a tin of swing oil.
Great to have a local brewery as one of the options and it be an IPA.

This course is called River Valley and has to many forestry hills. Golfing sometimes off decks a hundred yards up and valleys that make the yardage feel much longer.

Once a round, I hope to nail a par 3 green with the first shot and share it. Here is one of those shots with the ball mark a foot ahead and my pink ball a couple yards from the pin. I managed to 3 putt this for an unimpressive bogey but that’s the way she goes.

At the end of our 11k step day, we ended up pretty much bogey golf which is good for amateurs there mainly for the beer.

No matter how you slice it, and we did, a Friday on the golf course with mild sunny temperatures out doors with a couple beers, is a solid way to crest 10k @actifit steps.
