It’s flower day!! I drew a cute flower vase with flowers in it.

It is safe to say that my drawing skills are improving every day and making this drawing was pretty easy. The moral lesson of this post is “the importance of practice”🥰

Your lines might be crooked, the eyes of the image may look hideous, and you might make a thousand mistakes but giving up is not an option.

I make tons of mistakes in my drawings, there are days I don’t just get it no matter how much I try. I erase a lot and there are the good days where it goes smoothly, like today’s drawing.

I’ll walk you all through the entire creation process and just maybe someone out there might learn a thing or two.

I used the below materials and followed the below steps for my drawing.

Materials
Sketch pad
2H pencil
2B pencil
4B pencil
Eraser
Black pen

Procedure

Step 1:
I began by first drawing a rose, one of the flowers in the vase.

Step 2:
I proceeded to draw the next flower which is a daisy.

Step 3:
I drew a closed bud which was the last of the flowers

Step 4:
With my flowers in place I drew the stems of the flowers. I made sure the stems faced different directions.

Step 5:
What’s a stem without some little leaves on it? I drew the little leaves on the stems of the flowers and some part of the vase.

Step 6:
I completed the vase and made a little design on it.

Step 7:
I used my black pen to make my drawing defined and realistic and Voila!!! My drawing was completed.

I haven’t been able to practice so much with colours as it would have been nice to see these flowers in their respective colours but I am happy that my drawing turned out great.

What do you all think about my drawing? Would you like to draw something similar to this? I’d love to read your thoughts in the comment section.
