Soil Mechanics: Simplified Dam Filter Criteria Example
Currently studying how to do a truss load computation for our #project. It is difficult than expected, but I really want to learn about it so I can finish this on time.
3 am... finally going to bed!
Spent the last 4hours working with Text To Speech for my Master's Degree.
My teacher loves NetBeans instead of Intelij, so I spent a bunch of time trying to remember how to compile a Java project through the terminal with a classpath. Basically, chinese.
- Compile:
javac -d build/classes -cp lib/voce.jar src/sm/Jogo.java
- Run:
java -classpath build/classes/:lib/* sm.Jogo
I know I could just run it through NetBeans, but the UI is so ugly!
Intelij is so much more beautiful!
I might need to install something to make NetBean's UI better.

My company sent every employee one of those fishing emails trying to see who would compromise security! If I failed I would have been sent to a 4h online course about security.
I laughed when I read the email, it's seriously stupid... something about messages being quarantined and that I need to check them by clicking a link.
Maybe I should tell them I'm in crypto and each day I receive 30 fishing DMs through Twitter and Telegram, 2 fishing emails with exact front end replicas of real exchanges, and at least 10 ad tweets that are also fishing 😂 I've been playing the game on hard mode already.

AI and the Engineer: Collaboration or Competition? #ai #engineering #technology
One thing that I love about Software Engineering is the fact that I have to figure out workarounds for a lot of stuff...
Was given a task yesterday to implement something in a component that is still in development... There is no remote branch at the moment for that component, and the guy that is supposed to develop it hasn't even started working on it.
While drinking Coffee in the morning and scrolling Twitter I was thinking to myself "How can I make some advancement in this task without the component being developed, it's like trying to fill a pool that is still not constructed..."
Ended up designing everything for another similar component, and when the guy finishes the main component I can probably just copy and paste the functions and have half the job finished.
This is what developing is like, many times the hard part is figuring out how to do something and not actually writing the code.

Sometimes I just want to scream at other people's work ethics and values.
Team member is developing something for a flow and wants to merge his changes to the epic branch, I went ahead and ran his branch to see if it impacted the whole flow and if everything was working.
Not only were his changes all messed up, with only half the stuff actually working, but also his changes would break the rest of the flow that is already developed and working fine.
Camon man...
And we are supposed to deliver this this week to QA!
I would help out, I would... if the guy wasn't always leaving for a doctor's appointment or in class studying something else.
I can't help a person that doesn't want to work... I also have my own tasks to do!
He is getting paid twice what I am, and has years and years of more experience!
