When I was young I used to play videogames with my father and brother.
We played Age of Empires 3, Civilizations 4, Age of Mythology, Company of Heroes, Call of Duty, those were the times...
We used to scream at each other's rooms "Send me stone! I need stone!" at 3am! Sometimes on school nights 😂
Normally my mother slept through it, but sometimes she would wake up with our screaming and the whole house would turn into a hurricane of fury!
"THEY HAVE SCHOOL TOMORROW! GO TO BED RIGHT NOW!"
Sometimes we would have dinner at 1 am because we would forget to eat 😅 True degen moments and my father did it with me and my brother.

Been playing #influenceeth, on Starknet, the game is fun and exactly what I was looking for in a web3 game, reminds me of a mix of Civilizations and Eve Online!
If they can keep expanding this, and make it easy for new players to show up and develop, they might have a shot.
Although, I think the entry cost to start might be too high, right now it's the open beta and they have a faucet and are on Sepolia, which is a $ETH testnet, so it's free to play, but from what I've see, the materials will run up in costs fast, not sure everyone will have enough money to play this, especially long term.
I wonder if it would be a good idea to invest in some web3 gaming DAOs, to have exposure to #web3 #games.
