1/3🧵. #threadstorm People are in love of keeping pets at home. From cattle to dogs, there is a sharp shift of people interest when it comes to animal love. People now find a good solace in animal
There are a lot of animals I wouldn't dream of going close to, let alone have as pets but I think right there at the top would be reptiles(of any form)
I had a friend who had a pet lizard and she'd want to take it everywhere she went. To say I was freaked out would be an understatement. I'm not against them as the animals that they are but having a tongue-dangling thing as a pet is not my cup of tea in the least. So snakes and the likes are out!
There are countless animals that I would never take as pets, but let's stick with the one at the top of the list—feline animals.
Cats of any size and colour are not my thing. I do not dislike them, but I would rather not own them, especially large ones like lions and tigers. First, cats have weird eyes to me, and that shit scares me. Secondly, they tend to use their claws, and that can be dangerous. And as for lions and tigers, I sure wouldn't want to forget their dinner and become one day.
So even if a cat was handed a gift to me, it would be very difficult to accept and keep. I'm not even a pet person, but I'd rather not own cats of any species.

Dogs are true friend of humans. We come across many stories of dogs in which the dogs shown their loyalty and protection towards their owners. I have had both bad and good experiences with pets, specifically dogs. When I was a kid, a stray dog bit me when I was approximately six or seven years old. My mother, from that moment on, hated dogs.
