The LPUD feel so special

The first thing I noticed when I got up is the sunshine filtering through the drapes and lighting up my room with the golden glow of the Sun.

Am I still dreaming

Well perhaps it is a dream with eyes wide open I and dreaming or perhaps hoping that I win a big delegation prize in the LPUD Why not today is the 15th day of the month and this happened to be marked on my calendar as the day of the LPUD. The day we celebrate in the leofinance.io community as the day dedicated to powering up our leo accounts with Leo tokens. The hard working community members work hard creating posts and threads throughout the month and on the 15th they use up the leo tokens to power up their leo accounts and grow their leo powers.

Why power up Leo tokens on LPUD ?

The simple answer would be to try to win one of the many LPUD delegation prizes

Can you believe it Leofinance.io which as a community is constantly focusing on enhancing their knowledge about blockchains, financial resources and crypto and finding new ways to earn even have a prize for being unlucky on LPUD ?

Hats off to the guy who has decided to award an unlucky prize for those who do not win any delegation So if you get unlucky you can win

To be able to be eligible to win a delegation prize one has to keep in mind a few rules and requirements which are

  • Your total Leo Power (on the 15th) must be less than 25k.
  • You must power up at least 150 Leo on February 15.
  • You must not have powered down Leo since November 15.
  • Make a post or a #thread on Leo Finance about LPUD, perhaps you'll get a visit from @leo.voter!

ProTip: If you make a post, it doesn't have to be only about LPUD, it can be about anything else and you can just include an #lpud section at the end of your post (just make sure to mention it on the title so we don't miss the post while picking the winners).

A look and feel of the new UI

I got super excited to find the new leofinance.io UI at https://alpha.leofinance.io/ This post is being written in the new interface so I can give my first impressions.

The New UI loaded up in double quick speed for me and full marks 10/10 for load time. Perhaps I was super excited and in this excitement had difficulty locating the login button which I was searching for in the top right. Finding the login on the left column bottom side works well to though it can be in a brighter color to stand out from the background color. For this post I had created a meme as the opening image. I tried two ways of uploading it first method was the paste from clipboard which went through well.

Next I tried the upload by clicking on the image icon when I tried it I got this interface

Here when I selected the image by clicking the image icon it got selected but on this screen there was no indication if the image got selected like not image name was displayed. Perhaps the display of the image thumbnail or the name of the image here would give a clear indication that the interface/form has registered which file to upload.

Rest of the things which have been made functional seem to work faster than the older interface and quite smoothly.

I still do not know how the wallet section would look like ....

However I have a request to make and this is based on the fact that leofinance.io is all about money and I would very much appreciate if we can have a configurable audio notification every time an incoming payment is received in the wallet. I would like to set this as the sound of coins or a cash box. This ides is in line with the belief that a leofinance.io account is like your business or shop and when you create content that gets consumed and upvoted the incoming payments should be celebrated with the pleasing sound of coins or a cash register sound. However this feature should be configurable for situations when we are in a silence zone like in a library,class or office browsing though our leofinance.io community generate content. That is all folks
