First long Post In The new @leofinance UI.

In 2021 and 2022, there was a massive increase in gaming-based cryptocurrency projects, such as Axie Infinity, Illuvium, DeFi Kingdoms, and Splinterlands @steemmonsters. I firmly believe that blockchain gaming will play a significant role in the widespread adoption of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. It will certainly provide significant opportunities for early adopters and players to make money.

We all used to see playing games as a fun pastime, getting away from our daily lives, exploring new worlds, playing different characters, and with the internet, it became something even more - a way to make friends, meet different cultures, and socialize. Then came games like World of Warcraft, Lineage, and League of Legends, which made it possible to monetize gaming through YouTube videos, live streaming, and tournaments. As a result, the top players began receiving more and more sponsorships from big tech and apparel companies that previously only sponsored NBA and football players.

But How big is the Gaming industry

In 2022 the gaming industry was estimated to be worth at 235.7 billion dollars according to the world economic forum and projected to maintain a large growth that could lead to worth 321 billion dollars at 2026 a 50% growth in 4 years.

The competitive advantage that blockchain gaming has over traditional esports and games is that it can offer players true ownership and control over their in-game assets. This means that players can buy, sell, and trade in-game items with real-world value, and potentially even earn a living through playing blockchain games. This could make blockchain gaming more appealing to a wider audience, because everyone can monetize the time their spend playing.
Of course traditional esports and games already has a large and established fan base, with major tournaments and leagues attracting millions of viewers and offering large prize pools. While blockchain gaming has the potential to offer similar competitive experiences, it may take some time for these games to gain the same level of recognition and mainstream appeal.

I do believe that Blockchain Gaming will takeover traditional Gaming very soon because it represents technological advancement , true owner ship and Cryptocurrencies the only thing that will delay that is the regulation frameworks about earning in the game.
