Soda Biscuits You can serve them with meat and gravy, or dip them in syrup as a dessert or sweet breakfast item.

Ingredients: 4 cups flour,1 tsp baking soda,1 tsp salt,Milk or buttermilk

Put the flour in a mixing bowl and add milk,one tablespoon at a time,until you have a stiff dough.Mix the baking soda with a tablespoon of milk and then mix that with the dough.Add the salt and knead it thoroughly to get everything well mixed.

Roll the dough out to about half an inch thick and cut into biscuits.You can use a cookie cutter or just slice it into squares or triangles.Bake in an oven preheated to 425掳F,or in a Dutch oven,for about 12-15 minutes.When sides are brown and biscuits are no longer doughy,they鈥檙e done.
