I have PTSD after the Knicks blew the game tonight. Maxey went on a seven-point run in 17 seconds towards the end of the game, including tying it and taking it to overtime. Reggie Miller did something similar to us back in the day, and the Knicks choked out. Please, oh, please, let this not go to game 7, although the Knicks will be back home if they lose the next one in Philly.
As good as the Yankees are, the Orioles have something to say about that. They now sit in first place in the AL East and have beat the Yanks in the first two games of the current series. They held them to two runs in two games and shut them out yesterday.

The Mets continue to punch me in the gut. They lost again and are only one game over 500 at 13-12. They have lost two games at home against the Cardinals, whom they should not be losing a series to, and they have done just that. Getting swept by losing tomorrow will be horrible.

The Mets ended their latest losing streak at three games and left the West Coast road trip at 3-3 which is not bad considering they beat the Dodgers 2 out of 3 to start the road trip. Lindor had a great game, and he needed it. He hit two homers today. Now they go home to play the Cardinals with JD Martinez finally making his New York Mets debut!
When it comes to the controversy at the end of the Knicks/76ers game, I understand that the NBA is owning up to the fact the refs blew calls at the end of the game that benefited the Knicks, but hey, it's the playoffs and the Knicks, never gave up and they were losing the whole game. Sixers let them get back in the game and the tenacity of the Knicks won out. I'm sure bullshit calls will go against the Knicks in Philly.
